Audit Approach Under ERP Environment

Application Systems Security audit - A detailed analysis of the security of mission critical applications of the enterprise to which its employees, customers or partners may have access to.
Operating System Security - Evaluate the security controls pertaining to the operating system such as access rights and privileges, file system security of the OS, backup and emergency response measures.
Database Security audit - Aims to evaluate the security controls pertaining to the database such as classification of data in terms of sensitivity, levels of access rights and privileges, vulnerability analysis, data backup mechanisms and procedures.
Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Audit - Testing the business continuity and disaster recovery controls of the organization on occurrence of untoward events such as natural disasters (earthquake, flood), accidents (fire, explosions), power failure, sabotage activities like terrorist attacks etc.
